Shipping information & costs

It is very important to us to properly pack and ship your order. Especially natural when live animals are involved. 
After several years of experience, we were able to continuously improve our shipping packaging.
We always try to send your order on the day of payment, but please understand if it should take a little longer.
  • Basically, we almost exclusively use paper as upholstery and filling material in order to save costs for both you and us and at the same time do something good for the environment - we only use special material for particularly sensitive goods.
  • Live ants are always wrapped in bubble wrap to dampen shocks and to somewhat isolate the temperature.
  • In winter, of course, we provide appropriate packaging (heating pad and / or polystyrene covering) for living goods - of course free of charge.
  • Depending on their size, glass pools are well padded and additionally wrapped in bubble wrap.


More shipping information
We always send your order as soon as possible after receipt of payment. However, please note that shipping may also be delayed due to various events. It can take a little longer, especially for sensitive ants, because they require intensive preparation for shipping.

All processing and packaging costs are already included in the price - so there are no hidden costs waiting for you.


Shipping countries
We ship all of our products to all countries that belong to the European Union (EU). Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to countries such as Liechtenstein or Switzerland.


Shipping restrictions & shipping at customer risk
In the case of very high or very low temperatures or similar events, shipping is carried out at the customer's risk. We then accept no liability for the safe arrival of your order. The living arrival guarantee does not apply in such a case either.

If this is the case, we clearly state this on the homepage of our website.

At temperatures below -5 ° C and above 35 ° C, the dispatch of live animals is completely stopped.

 

Returns
As a customer, you are responsible for returning goods, so you bear the associated costs and risks. The goods must reach us as we sent them. Feel free to contact us in advance for tips on the right way to send to avoid problems afterwards.

You can pick up your order yourself at our shipping point in 1180 Vienna.
Simply order through our online shop and select "Pickup in 1180 Vienna" as the shipping method.
You can then pick up your order on the following dates:

Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

ATTENTION: if you order after Thursday, 4:00 p.m., pick-up is only possible in the following week!
